FMGE 2024 exam analysis For December session
The exam analysis of the FMGE 2024 December session is provided here after the conclusion of the exam. As per students on social media, the paper 1 of FMGE 2024 December session was hard, while paper 2 was easy to moderate.
As per candidates, questions were mostly from Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, while less number of questions from Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Forensic Medicine. The questions in Biochemistry, and Physiology were a bit difficult, while questions in other sections appeared to be a bit easy.
Attempting 300 Qs is manageable, but trying to tackle 6-liner 300 Qs in 300 minutes while sitting in front of a computer screen in a crowded, cramped room is not ok at all!#fmge2025

FMGE 2024 exam analysis: June session
The difficulty level of FMGE 2024 June session exam was recorded as easy to moderate. In paper 1, most of the questions were asked from the Pre-Clinical subjects. The questions from Anatomy were straightforward while some were comprehension based and required in-depth knowledge of the concepts. Physiology was of moderate difficulty level. Biochemistry was rated as easy to moderate as some questions were easy while some were tricky. Topics from Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine were well covered.
FMGE exam analysis: Previous year analysis
FMGE 2023 December exam was conducted on January 20, 2024. Based on the reactions of the students who appeared for the exam, Part A of the exam was easy, on the other hand, Part B was moderately difficult. Practical based questions were asked from Part A of the FMGE 2023 December . A few questions were one liner while few were comprehensive questions. The test takers felt Part B to be comparatively difficult.
In the FMGE 2023 December session exam, FMGE syllabus was fully covered however, higher weightage was given to subjects such as Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Pathology.
FMGE exam analysis 2023: June session
FMGE 2023 June session exam gained a mixed reaction. For some the paper was moderately difficult while some found it difficult. The FMGE 2023 June session question paper constituted 35.2% of clinical questions, 55.6% conceptual questions and the remaining 9.3% were one liners. Questions from the subjects such as Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Medicine, Preventive and Social Medicine, Pharmacology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) were of higher weightage.
