DNB PDCET 2024 College Predictor

Usually every year cutoff was under 500 rank for DNB CET in all specialisation you have high chance to get admission in DNB obgy but ot is not sure which location you may get as the city you mentioned is full early than other less popular Cities.

However The cutoff marks are also different for different institutes. The cutoff marks for institutes located in metros are usually higher than the cutoff marks for institutes located in rural areas.

Unfortunately, you are not eligible to appear for the DNB PDCET examination to pursue a DNB in Pediatrics.

The DNB PDCET is specifically designed for candidates who have completed a postgraduate diploma. As you have already completed an MD in Community Medicine, which is a postgraduate degree, you are not eligible for the PDCET.

You can appear for the regular DNB entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This is the standard route for MD/MS holders to pursue a DNB specialty.

Dear applicant although it is somewhat difficult for you to get DNB Obstetrics or Gynecology but yes since your are from OBC Category you have moderate possibilities of getting admissions. Though it is just an assumption but based on the rank that you secured you have better possibilities of admission in courses line MD in Pharmacology, MD in Biochemistry, MD in Anatomy, MD in General Medicine etc. But yes cut off can vary and you can get a seat. National board of examination that is NBE is the conducting authority of the examination of diplomat national board post diploma centralised entrance test. This exam is of 200 multiple choice question which covers all the divisions up MBBS and the standard of examination is equivalent to MBBS final ( exit) examination. Examination paper is divided into 8 sections that consists of overall 25 questions. For   gynaecology and obstetrics section carries 25 questions and 120 marks.

Each question carries full marks for positive answer and one marks is deducted for negative answer.

The National Board of Examination (NBE) is the conducting authority of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) Post Diploma Centralised Entrance Test (PDCET).  Candidates who register for the DNB programme after clearing DNB PDCET, are required to complete 2 years of practical training under any NBE accredited institution/hospital/medical college. After completion of the practical training, he/she has to appear for the DNB final examination and clear it, only then he/she will be awarded a DNB degree.  Exam date is on 9th May 2021.
