A few days after the announcement of the RPVT 2025 result, the authority releases the merit list. The RPVT merit list contains the names of the candidates based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. Based on the rank secured in the RPVT merit list 2025, candidates are allotted seats during the counselling process.
RPVT merit list: Tie breaking
If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the RPVT exam, the authority applies the below mentioned tie breaking criteria to prepare the merit list.

If tie still exist, a candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect and correct answers in Chemistry secures higher rank.
To further resolve ties, a candidate with less proportion of number of attempted incorrect and correct answers in Physics secures higher rank.
If all criteria are exhausted, the tie is resolved through a random process with the guidance of an independent expert committee.
