Candidates who qualify in the NEET-UG 2025 test and submit the HP NEET application form 2025 will be included in the MBBS merit list 2025 of HP. Based on the state rank list of HP MBBS/BDS 2025, aspirants will be granted admission to 870 MBBS and 191 BDS seats offered in medical and dental colleges under 50% state quota seats and private universities.
The remaining 15% of seats from government medical and dental colleges are reserved for All India Quota seats which will be offered by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on the scores obtained in NEET 2025. HP MBBS 2025 merit list - tie-breaking method
In case the ranks of two or more candidates are equal, the authority will follow the tie-breaking procedure, which has been mentioned below.
Candidates with higher marks in Physics will be awarded a higher rank in the NEET merit list 2025, Himachal Pradesh.
If the tie still exists, the higher marks of an aspirant in Chemistry will be considered for a higher place in the HP MBBS merit list 2025.
In case of a tie, students who attempted less number of incorrect responses in the NEET 2025 exam will be provided a better rank.
If the tie still persists, then the candidate higher in age will be considered first on the AMRU HP merit list 2025.

Candidates who will be included in the merit list of HP NEET 2025 are eligible to participate in MBBS counselling in HP for state quota seats and private universities. The seat allotment process for HP MBBS admissions 2025 will be granted based on merit rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors.

Applicants who will be included in the HP NEET seat allocation list will have to report to the allotted colleges within the stipulated dates and timings.
