The counselling for AP NEET PG is conducted in online mode. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as laid down by the authority can take part in the counselling process. The steps in the AP NEET PG counselling are as follows:
For AP NEET PG counselling, candidates have to register at the official website of NTRUHS.
To register, candidates are required to enter their details such as names, roll no., and the NEET PG score.
After registration, candidates must fill out the choice of course and college. There is no restriction on the number of selections in MD/MS or PG diploma courses.
AP NEET PG counselling allotment is carried out based on the NEET PG merit list, filled preferences, and the availability of seats.
After the seat allotment, candidates must report at the allotted colleges within the stipulated time with the required documents.
Before reporting to the allotted colleges, candidates must take the printout of the admission letter for AP NEET PG 2024 counselling.
Candidates who are not shortlisted for Round 1 of the AP NEET PG counselling can take part in further rounds.
The waiting list includes the candidates who are not satisfied with the colleges initially allotted to them. Those candidates have to write an application to the authority stating their requirements. Aspirants in the AP NEET PG counselling waiting list are called if seats are vacant in their choice of colleges after the completion of the counselling process.
After the first round of counselling if seats are vacant then candidates who are not shortlisted in the first round can participate in round 2 of the AP NEET PG counselling process. However, there are certain parameters which need to be fulfilled by the candidates which are as follows:
